Copper and Silver and Bronze...Oh My!

The minute I started playing with metals, my heart fell in love! To be able to saw, file, burnish, pound, patina and polish was exciting... but then I found vitreous enamels and metal clay and my whole creative world expanded like a universe!
As a self taught metalsmith, I've spent the last couple of years watching hours and hours of tutorials and have spent triple that time experimenting with what I could accomplish with metals. From bowls to articulated pendants to animal portraits with enamels... I'm finally feeling the confidence to put serious thought into selling my creations more widely.
My mom used to have a saying when she wanted to know what you are up to, "What you got up your sleeve?" Well Mom... for 2019 my plans are to roll up my sleeves and get to work selling my jewelry online and off, to approach several boutique art shops in order to consign my works, perhaps do a couple of popup shows, and finally applying for a biggie show here in Austin. Just writing it down makes my heart beat faster!
Perhaps my plans are a dream; but I'm dreaming and thats what counts! We live the life we expect to live. So plan the life you want to live and start living it!
